Chris is a European and UK patent attorney who joined Dehns in 1999, having completed his studies at the University of Cambridge. He graduated with a degree in Natural Sciences (Chemistry) and was later awarded a PhD, also by the University of Cambridge.
Chris became a Partner of the firm in 2013. He handles patent work for a variety of clients from sole-inventors and small biotech companies to multinational corporations. Chris provides patent drafting, filing, international prosecution and advice services and has significant experience in oppositions and appeals before the EPO. Chris works with inventions from a broad range of chemical technologies including pharmaceuticals, organic chemistry, polymers, fluorochemicals, in vivo delivery formulations and diagnostic assays. He is also regularly involved in litigation work in the UK and elsewhere.
