Li Renjiu joined the Intellectual Property Department of Luye Pharma Group as Senior Patent Director in 2017. He is mainly responsible for patent litigation and patent dispute resolution at home and abroad, and has participated in many patent litigation, objection and invalidation cases in China, the United States and Europe on behalf of the company. Before joining Luye Pharma Group, he worked in the National Intellectual Property Administration, successively served as the Patent Examiner of the Pharmaceutical and Biological Examination Department, the Examiner, Deputy Director and Director of the Patent Reexamination Board, and the Public Office Lawyer of National Intellectual Property Administration, and engaged in patent reexamination, invalidation, litigation and other related legal affairs for a long time. During the period, he was seconded to the Intellectual Property Tribunal of Beijing No.1 Intermediate People's Court for one year as the People's Juror in 2006, engaged in jury work in patent, trademark and anti-unfair competition cases. He graduated from School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Peking University Health Science Center with a bachelor's degree and Institute of Clinical Medicine, China-Japan Friendship Hospital with a master's degree. In 2009, he studied intellectual property law at Cardozo School of Law in New York, USA for half a year. As a member of the editorial board, he participated in the compilation of several monographs, such as Evaluation and Analysis of Typical Cases of Pharmaceutical Patent Protection(Intellectual Property Publishing House, October 2012) and Evaluation and Analysis of Typical Reexamination and Invalidation Cases in Pharmaceutical and Biological Fields (Intellectual Property Publishing House, January 2015).
