Richard has more than 12 years’ experience of litigating intellectual property disputes in China. He has successfully handled many complex and high-stake intellectual property cases, wherein two cases were selected as top 10 IP cases and four cases were selected as 50 exampere cases by the Supreme People’s Court in China.
Richard focuses on matters concerning patent infringement, patent invalidation, patent ownership and trade secret issues. of the matters involve a diverse range of industries, including communication chips, LED, projector, mobile phone, vacuum cleaner, ultrasonic system, voltage transformer, container, cartridge, automotive catalyst, battery, foamed nickel, pharmaceutical and medica device, dyestuff, cosmetic, food additive and butyl rubber.
Richard combines strong first-hand litigation experiences with a robust technical knowledge and is capable of finding best ways to present complex technical issues in trial and validity proceedings. He has been consistently recommended by IAM as Leading Patent Professional in 2015-2017.
