Dr. Xu Bo is currently the executive director of Beijing Lungtin Law Firm. Dr. Xu had been engaged in intellectual property trials for 10 years successively in Beijing First Intermediate People's Court and Beijing Intellectual Property Court (BIPC). He heard more than 1,000 IP-related cases including those involving patents, trademarks, copyrights, and unfair competitions, and the patent case of Apple Inc. v. Patent Reexamination Board which Dr. Xu handled was elected as one of "China's Top 10 Innovative Intellectual Property Cases in 2014", and has also handled a series of major difficult and complex cases involving pharmaceutical patents, standard-essential patents, well-known trademark protection, and unfair competition on the Internet.
Dr. Xu also presided over the hearing of many influential drug patent cases involving Cinepazide Maleate, Truvada and Liraglutide. Xu has made many speeches at professional conferences at home and abroad, published his monograph Guide to the Application of Guiding Cases and Prior Cases in Intellectual Property Litigation, and contributed more than 30 articles to periodicals including Intellectual Property, China Patents & Trademarks, People's Judicature, Electronics Intellectual Property, China Intellectual Property, People's Court Daily and Beijing Trial.
Dr. Xu has been following the trends in the pharmaceutical and bioscience field for a long time, and his professional WeChat Official Account "Pharmaceutical Intellectual Property Case Observation" has received wide attention from the industry.
Currently, Dr. Xu serves as the legal advisor of Tencent, Firstunion, WuXi AppTec, CSPC, KELUN industry group, NJCTTQ, and GenSci Pharma. and provided professional intellectual property rights legal services to many famous enterprises at home and abroad in a large number of important cases.
