Ms. Zhao has more than 15 years of experience in intellectual property related work: she worked at the Patent Office of the State Intellectual Property Office and the former Patent Re-examination Board; then started to practice as an lawyer and joined Hiways Law Firm in October 2021, she is a licensed Chinese lawyer and a licensed Chinese patent attorney with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a Master's degree in Science. 
Ms. Zhao has extensive experience in patent infringement litigation, civil litigation of trade secrets, administrative litigation of patents, reexamination and invalidation of patents, and other litigation practices. She also specializes in non-litigation legal services such as patent stability analysis and Freedom To Operate analysis (FTO analysis). Her practice covers many fields such as chemistry, biomedicine, chemical industry, materials, and machinery.

Since the corresponding judicial interpretation and departmental regulations of Drug Patent Linkage System in China were officially implemented, Ms. Zhao has participated in and undertaken a series of Civil Cases and Administrative Ruling Cases related to the drugs applied for registrations, and has accumulated rich practical experience.
