Director of The Beijing Intellectual Property Institute, Chair Professor of Jinan University, vice president of Intellectual Property Law Association of China Law Society, Visiting Professor of Renmin University of China. He was Deputy Presiding Judge of the IP Tribunal of Beijing High People’s Court. He was a pioneering IP trial judge and handled many significant IP cases, and was nominated one of the 50 most important IP figures of the world by the British publication Managing Intellectual Property in 2003.
