Mr. Jiang Shichao has over 19 years of experience in intellectual property. He previously worked in patent examination for a long time, serving as an international patent examiner and foreign-related training instructor at the National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA), Leader of Patent Reexamination Panel, and PCT Examiner. He possesses in-depth expertise and unique insights into patent laws, regulations and examination practices of China, the US, Europe and other jurisdictions.
He once worked at a top domestic pharmaceutical enterprise, taking charge of domestic and international patent dispute resolution, policy research and consultation, IP due diligence for license-in projects, as well as patent portfolio planning for innovative drugs. With solid professional knowledge, extensive practical experience and sharp judgment, he led and facilitated the successful resolution of patent disputes for dozens of domestic and international drug registration projects, clearing the way for product launches. Currently serving as IP Lead and Senior Director at WuXi AppTec, he has rich experience in team building & management, system establishment and IP risk control in daily business operations.
