Attorney Wang Ningling currently serves as the Managing Partner of the firm’ s Shanghai Representative Office. Her practice covers patent prosecution, legal opinions, due diligence, client counseling, licensing,
and patent litigation, with a focus on the fields of chemistry, chemical engineering, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, semiconductor materials, 3D printing, and nanotechnology.
With extensive experience in advising multinational and Chinese companies on intellectual property portfolio management, Ms. Wang regularly conducts due diligence, and provides services related to licensing,
litigation, as well as trade secret protection and enforcement. She has represented clients in multiple casesbefore the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) and U.S. district courts, and has also assisted over seas enterprises in intellectual property enforcement actions in China, including through judicial and customs measures.
Ms. Wang is a frequent speaker on patent-related topics at conferences and seminars both in China and internationally. She has taught a course on U.S. intellectual property law for graduate students at the
Renmin University of China Law School and lectured on U.S. IP law at the Koguan Law School of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where she also presided over patent moot court sessions. Additionally, she serves as a professor in the law program at the University of Science and Technology of China.
