Stella Wong is dual qualified as a medical physician and a lawyer. She graduated from University College London with degrees in Medicine and Physiology and still works as a doctor on Saturdays.
Stella works predominantly on complex multi-jurisdictional patent litigation with a focus on medical device, pharmaceutical and biotechnology patents. Her knowledge in the field of medicine provides particularly valuable insights in life sciences patent litigation and she is also able to use her credentials as a doctor to connect with clinicians and professors who are frequently used as experts in these cases. She has worked on patent litigation in relation to billion-dollar biologics and numerous medical devices and small molecule drugs (including representing a client in a major patent litigation battle for a new generation of anaemia treatments which settled ahead of the Supreme Court hearing).
