His experience includes patent prosecution, IP portfolio management, business development support, and legal counsel in advanced therapeutics. Kwame has guided and managed matters involving novel cell therapies and biologics throughout his career. He has worked on complex patent issues for AstraZeneca, MedImmune, and McDonnell Boehnen Hulbert & Berghoff LLP, serving in roles such as Head of Legal, Cell Therapy; Assistant General Counsel, Oncology Biologics IP; and Senior Director, Patents for immuno oncology and cell therapy. Kwame has advised and developed legal strategies for innovative therapeutics, spanning major therapeutic areas and supporting multidisciplinary teams in the United States.
