Mr. Luo Juhua joined the CCPIT Patent and Trademark Law Office in 2001 and has been serving as the Deputy Director of the Chemical Department of the Office since 2013.

Mr. Luo Juhua graduated from the Institute of Developmental Biology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1997 with a master's degree in developmental biology. He studied patent law in Germany and the United States for many times. From August to December 2014, he studied American law in the Franklin Pierce Law Center in the United States.

Luo Juhua is mainly engaged in patent agency work, and he has successfully represented a large number of patent applications, involving fields such as biotechnology and medicine. In addition to acting as an agent for patent applications, Luo Juhua also provides customers with comprehensive patent legal services, including patent mining and layout, patent review, patent invalidation, patent infringement, patent administrative litigation, patent due diligence, and other aspects.

Representative cases represented by Luo Juhua include:

Acting as an agent in a university's biology patent invalidation case and first instance administrative litigation, both maintaining the validity of the patent. This patent involves an important invention that has won a Nobel Prize, and the invalidity case was ranked as the top ten invalid patent review cases in 2015 by the Reexamination Board.

Represented a pharmaceutical company in five invalid patent cases for compound patents, maintained patent validity three times, and withdrew invalid requests twice.

Acting as an agent for a pharmaceutical company's biopharmaceutical patent invalidation, first instance administrative litigation, second instance administrative litigation, and retrial administrative litigation, with the support of the Beijing High Court and Supreme Court.

Participated in the patent application for "Hepatitis E Monoclonal Antibodies and Their Uses" and obtained high-quality patents in major countries around the world. The corresponding Chinese invention patents were awarded the 14th China Patent Gold Award.

Luo Juhua also guided the biopharmaceutical team of the firm in a large number of invalid and litigation cases, and won the lawsuit.
