Zhefeng Chen holds a Bachelor of Applied Chemistry from Shanghai Jiao
Tong University and a Master of Laws from East China University of
Political Science and Law. He joined Shanghai Patent and Trademark
Law Firm Co., Ltd. in 2002 and currently serves as Deputy General
Manager of the Chemical, Pharmaceutical, and Biological Division, a
Senior Patent Attorney, Patent Litigation Attorney, and Technology
Broker.With over 20 years of experience in the patent field, he has
studied patent practices at leading European and American law firms.
He has a distinguished track record in patent confirmation, strategy
development, and operations, specializing in domestic and international
patent applications, PCT international strategies, invalidation and FTO
search and analysis, global patent mining and value creation,
administrative litigation, and patent valuation, licensing, and transfer
services throughout the entire patent lifecycle. A patent invalidation
case he represented was selected as one of the "Top Ten Patent
Reexamination and Invalidation Cases" by the State Intellectual Property
Office in 2023.
To date, he has provided professional services to numerous well-known
domestic and international companies in the chemical, pharmaceutical,
and materials sectors, handling over 2,000 patent cases of various
types. Leveraging his deep technical background, legal expertise, and
international perspective, he continues to create high-value
intellectual property assets for his clients.
