Dr.  Kaiqian Chen is a Solutions Specialist at CAS, a division of the American Chemical Society. In this role, he is responsible for product and content training for CAS，including CAS IP Finder™ powered by STN, CAS SciFinder®, CAS Analytical Methods™, and CAS Formulus® within the CAS SciFinder Discovery Platform™, as well as CAS BioFinder® and other innovative solutions under continuous development by CAS. He provides users with tailored search strategies and assists them in resolving issues encountered during their use of CAS solutions.
Dr. Chen earned his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Iowa State University and his B.S. in Applied Chemistry from Sun Yat-sen University. His research and work experience span multiple fields, including organic chemistry, molecularly imprinted nanoparticles, molecular recognition, and pharmaceutical synthesis. Prior to joining CAS, he worked in R&D at a renowned pharmaceutical technology company.
