Dong Wei graduated with a bachelor's degree from the School of Life Sciences at Fudan University and later obtained a master's degree in law from East China University of Political Science and Law. He joined Shanghai Patent & Trademark Law Office, LLC in 2001 and currently serves as Deputy General Manager of the Chemistry, Pharmaceutical and Biology Division, and is a senior patent agent, patent litigation agent, and technology broker.
Dong Wei  has long been engaged in domestic and international patent agency work in fields such as biology, chemistry, pharmaceuticals, and materials. His practice covers patent applications, reexamination, invalidation, patent stability analysis, patent grant prospect analysis, and administrative litigation. Over the course of his career, he has handled a large number of invention and utility model patent applications, PCT applications, and overseas applications, with overseas filings covering Europe, North America, South America, East Asia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and many other countries and regions, accumulating rich practical experience in the field of intellectual property agency.
