Ilseok Alban Kang is a Korean patent attorney at FirstLaw P.C., leading FirstLaw's China IP team. Since joining FirstLaw in 2005, Ilseok has represented a broad range of multinational companies in the fields of pharmaceutical, biotechnology and chemistry, in relation with intellectual property matters in Korea, including patent litigation cases before the Korean Supreme Court and the Korean Patent Court. Especially, Ilseok fully understands the difference between the Chinese and Korean patent systems and can guide Chinese clients to the best IP solutions in Korea.
Ilseok has a Juris Master degree from Peking University in 2014 and a bachelor's degree in molecular biology from Seoul National University in 1997.
